Aims & Scope

ZML: Zeitschrift für Mathematische Logik und Grundlagen der Mathematik publishes original research papers of high mathematical quality in all areas of mathematical logic,  primarily in English.  Excellent expository and survey articles of wide interest will also be considered by the editorial board.

Publication model

The editors and publishers of ZML support true open access removing all barriers to access;  they believe that the scientific content of research journals must be under the sole control of the academic community and should be free from any commercial or profit-oriented influence.

ZML is an electronic Diamond Open Access research journal:  the journal is available openly and free of charge to authors and readers anywhere in the world,  independently of their institutional affiliations.  In the spirit of true open access,  all papers are published under the Creative Commons license CC BY 4.0 International

Indexing,  digital hosting and preservation,  as well as assignment of ISSN and DOIs is provided by Cambridge University Library.  Management,  provision of EditFlow,  and typesetting are generously financed by the support of some members of the editorial board.  Last,  but not least,  the scientific quality of the journal is guaranteed by the enormous volunteer effort of authors,  editors,  and referees.  (Publishing Information.)
